Milan celebrated Women’s Day

International Women’s Day is annually held on March 8 to celebrate women’s achievements throughout history and across nations.

It is also known as the United Nations (UN) Day for Women’s Rights and International Peace.

The International Women’s Day logo is in purple and white and features the symbol of Venus, which is also the symbol of being female.

Milan celebrated Women’s Day in a big way, to salute the women power and celebrate this day to make it a special one for all the ladies!

The highlight of this celebration was our chief guest for the day – Mrs. Anjali Bhalerao – Secretary of “Bhartiya Stree Shakti” organization, Thane District.

Mrs. Anjali is a social worker and works on the following issues – Matrimonial issues, Women Education and Self-employment, Women health, Self-defense training, etc.

She is also a member of the “Sexual Harassment Committee” with many organizations.
